Survival Tips for Practicing in eCourt and Organizing Your E-mail | Wednesday, June 18

The OSB Professional Liability Fund is sponsoring the seminar, “Survival Tips for Practicing in eCourt and Organizing Your E-mail” on Wednesday, June 18, 2014. The program will be presented live and as a Webcast.

Marion County Court will hold a viewing party for registrants in Courtroom 2D.  Please contact Kayla Franz at (503) 399-1070 or kfranz@sglaw.com to reserve a spot.  Attendees must register and pay for the CLE with the PLF prior to the event.  The program will run from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

PLF Practice Management Advisors, Beverly Michaelis and Dee Crocker, will provide you with tips on how to avoid malpractice traps in eCourt and organize and optimize your e-mail. This program is an update of “Survival Tips for Organizing Your E-mail and Practicing in eCourt,” originally presented on February 9, 2011.  Topics include: getting started with eCourt, filing documents, using the Register of Actions, resubmitting a rejected filing, paying eCourt fees, forwarding eCourt notices, and achieving “Inbox Zero” to avoid missing electronic deadlines.

The seminar will be held at the Oregon State Bar Center, Columbia Rooms A & B, 16037 SW Upper Boones Ferry Road, Tigard, Oregon, 97224. Registration/check-in begins at 8:30 a.m.  The program will run from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
