Please provide your complete office address and your bar number. Law student memberships are $25 per year. No dues are required from members who have been members for 50 years.

If you wish to get involved on a committee, please contact President Sean Armstrong at 503-581-1501 / sarmstrong@ghrlawyers.com or write our PO Box. We have committees on Diversity, Court Practices and Procedures, Pro Bono, Continuing Legal Education, Events, Web Site, Bulletin, Medical/Legal, Historical, Mentor, Law Library, Judicial Selection, New Lawyers and Memorial. There are many ways to serve.

Marion County Bar has been a consistent support of the Campaign for Equal Justice and has supported Salem Peer Court for Teens. Yearly we have a court staff appreciation lunch and a major dinner event and judges’ reception for Marion County Bar Awards including for pro bono work. We have an annual golf tournament, the Val Sloper Memorial, to raise money for charitable endeavors. We try to have several inexpensive but very worthwhile continuing legal education programs every year. For the last several months we have met the second Tuesday of every other month after work for a get together. We support Law Day activities and through volunteer efforts of many attorneys and judges work hard to support professionalism and collegiality.
