The Oregon State Bar is in the process of recruiting candidates for the House of Delegates (HOD) election. The HOD is the bar’s governance forum for the membership through elected and ex-officio representatives. The time commitment is minimal since the HOD generally meets only once each year and the term of a delegate is only three years. Delegates are elected from each bar region and there are several openings each of the six regions across the state. Becoming a HOD delegate is a great way for new members or first-time volunteers to get involved and participate in bar governance.
